
Tom Barlament
Senior Associate Pastor
Pastor Tom Barlament was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. His family moved to Lakeland, Florida when he was a teen. He was raised a Catholic. While in the Army he was reached through a military ministry, near Fort Rucker, Alabama, and was gloriously saved and baptized November 7, 1983, at Ewell Bible Baptist Church.
During his time in the military, he was an Air Traffic Controller, Military Intelligence and UH-60 Maintenance Test pilot; he resigned in 1997.
Pastor Barlament was called to preach in March of 1984 at Pastors’ School. He attended Hyles-Anderson College for 2 years and later graduated from Colorado Baptist College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He served as an assistant pastor and principal for 2 years at First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, after college graduation. He also started and pastored Landmark Baptist Church, Grand Junction, Colorado, where he ministered for 23 years.
Tom and Nancy met and were married at Ewell Bible Baptist Church in 1984. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. Pastor Barlament enjoys skiing, golf and mostly, serving the Lord in the local church and time with his family.
With the Lord’s clear leading they moved to Virginia in 2024 where God opened the door to serve at Heritage Baptist Church as Senior Associate Pastor.
