About

Our History

Heritage Christian School opened its doors for the first time in August of 1984. From 70 students in K5-6th grade, the school has grown to a student body of over 400, offering K4 through 12th grade. Heritage Christian School is a ministry of Heritage Baptist Church and has served families as an extension of the Christian home for over 40 years.

God has guided, strengthened, and blessed the ministry of Heritage Christian School while bringing academically strong and spiritually focused staff and faculty to serve here. Called by God to help start the school, Pastor Kosa has been the school principal since the beginning. Dedicated to the Lord from the beginning, Heritage Christian School’s ultimate purpose and aim is to bring glory to the Lord.
A combination of the Abeka and Bob Jones curriculum in both the elementary and high school provides a strong academic foundation. Both general and advanced diplomas are available. A young person chooses which academic track they wish to pursue at the start of ninth grade.
While academics are a priority, many additional opportunities are available to the young people.  In the elementary grades, computer, library, art, music, and physical education classes are included. Extra-curricular activities include J.V. and Varsity sports teams for both girls and boys, yearbook, band/orchestra, choir, hand bells, etc.

Our Purpose

We exist to assist parents in equipping their children academically and spiritually to contend for the faith and engage culturally in a life of service for the Lord Jesus Christ.
